ART OFF the MAIN
ART OFF the MAIN returns in 2013 a part of the Contemporary Art Fair NYC. Launched in 2004 ART OFF the MAIN is the first fair ever to showcase the combined works from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. It has become a beacon of diversity, a place of discovery, a source of inspiration and a perfect addition to our two established shows at the Javits Center.
In the eclectic tradition of the Western world's great galleries, this trilogy of shows combine paintings, drawings, sculpture, and photography with objects that often begin life as craft, or sometimes basic eating and living utensils, such as pottery, tableware, furniture as well as jewelry and fashion.
