ART OFF the MAIN Joins The Contemporary Art Fair NYC
Jacob Javits Center | Oct. 19•20•21 2012
ART OFF the MAIN, the trend-setting art fair, is a vehicle to present affordable art by emerging and established artists from regions and cultures that have traditionally been underrepresented in other art fairs. It is the first fair ever to showcase the combined works from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, three regions which share historical, ethnic and political experiences resulting in cultural expressions with common elements. Launched in 2004, ART OFF the MAIN has become a beacon of diversity, a place of discovery and source of inspiration.
ART OFF the MAIN reaches a major milestone in 2012 as it moves into a new venue and joins American Art Marketing, in presenting a trilogy of art shows under one roof.
The Contemporary Art Fair NYC provides a major showing of independent painters, photographers and sculptors. The American Craft Show NYC, features the work of fine artisans working with glass, ceramic, wood, and other materials. ART OFF the MAIN showcases painting, drawings, graphics, sculpture and installations by artists of Caribbean, African and Latin American ancestry.Artists
